DESCRIPTION
The BALAM is Belfort’s full suspension enduro model.
The BALAM offers 160mm travel in the front and 160mm rear. It comes in 29” and 27.5” wheel sizes. The frame is made of Belfort’s proprietary X7 aluminum which is an extremely strong and light alloy that features doubled butted tubing.
TECHNOLOGY
The BALAM uses Belfort’s Shared Pivot Technology (SPT). SPT uses multiple pivots to provide a ride that is both more responsive and incredibly stable. Additionally, the rear triangle is constructed to allow for tighter, more precise turns.
Internal cable routing allows for sleek routing of cables and housing for brakes, shifting, and dropper post.
The BALAM comes in 6 different configurations. With the highest level currently being the version with the RockShox Zeb fork, RockShox Super Deluxe Shock, and 12s Shimano drivetrain. The lowest configuration includes the EXS Cero air fork, XFusion air shock, and 10s Shimano drivetrain.
RIDE QUALITY
The BALAM is about two things performance and precision. It is a bike that will improve your riding skills without holding you back. Technical trails that may have given you headaches in the past (hopefully not literally) will become less challenging. And that will help you climb more easily and descend faster and without fear. The stability of the shared pivot technology will also help you to preserve energy for both you and your suspension and your tires. That means that you will maintain adequate pressure for longer and feel less fatigued after your ride.

Belfort is the high-end line of bikes from Grupo Veloci, one of the oldest bicycle manufacturers in the world. Veloci has been making bicycles in Mexico since 1968. The company was started by the Gomez family and is currently run by the company’s original founder and his four sons.
